I had a very good time staying in the wooden cabins. The layout inside is very well done and leaves plenty of living space. The wooden interior creates a nice cozy atmosphere. The cabins are equipped with a small kitchen, which gives you the possibility to cook your own meals if you're on a tight budget. Here you get a nice idea of the real life in Moldova, something you wouldn’t have if you stay in a hotel in the capital. Some of the staff members speak English very well and are willing to provide you with information about the area. There's a supermarket in Străşeni and a couple of ATM machines. Public transport to the capital leaves regularly and takes only 25 minutes. Străşeni provide a good base for daytrips to Capriana and Hincu Monasteries and other places. I only stayed for a couple of days but I'm definitely planning on coming back! - Vincent (Holland)
